This pandemic has created huge implications for many businesses, and has been especially devastating for the hospitality sector. It is therefore with great sadness that we are having to inform you that Cedar Falls Health Spa will not be reopening for the foreseeable future.


As many of you are aware Cedar Falls was a family run business, and having been in operation since 1981, it’s closure has been an extremely difficult decision to make. The house at present has reverted back to a family home.


We would like to thank you for your support over the years, and we will keep you informed should we decide to reopen in any capacity in the future.

Dear guests,


This update is to give clarification with regards to the availability and validity of bookings and vouchers.


As soon as we have a date for reopening, sales of vouchers and bookings will resume. With regards to the validity of existing vouchers that you may hold, the remaining time that was on your voucher as of March 21st 2020 (which was when we were forced to close) will be brought forward. As you already know all vouchers have been converted to monetary value.


An email will be sent out to those of you that are on our mailing list giving advance notice of our opening date.

If you hold a Cedar Falls voucher and are not on our mailing list please ensure that you subscribe now.




Upon reopening, existing voucher holders will be given priority with regards to bookings.

We do hope you are keeping well and enjoying the lovely weather. 


Our Renovations are progressing as well as can be expected and are keeping us occupied. Please note, our reception desk is not staffed at present, so we are unable to answer phone calls or email enquiries. If you are not already on our mailing list but would like to receive updates regarding our progress and reopening, please subscribe below.





As you already know an email was sent out to all of you that had placed a deposit or purchased a voucher giving you the opportunity of a refund. 


For those of you that did request a refund we are pleased to say that these were processed quickly and efficiently and that all monies were returned to your accounts within a few days of the application. 


As previously said, a heartfelt thank you to those of you that decided to retain your vouchers to use against a future visit.

Dear guests,

First and foremost, we do hope that you are all keeping fit and healthy. 
Following on from the government‘s decision that spas, gymnasiums, swimming pools and nail bars will be one of the last to reopen, it is clearly apparent that we are in one of the highest risk category of businesses.
As we take the safety and well-being of our staff and guests extremely seriously, we have decided that until the threat of Covid 19 is significantly reduced, we shall remain closed at least until the end of this year. But rest assured, we will be using this time constructively by continuing with our program of refurbishment.
Since lockdown we have been extremely busy reconstructing our bedroom suites. We have also installed a completely new pressurised water system, so from now on high pressure showers even on the top floor! The list of jobs to do seems to be endless but we are making good progress.

Therefore with our continued closure in mind, some of you may require a refund of your voucher or deposit. If you do then please click the refund button below. The refund window will be open until August 11th 2020


However, should you decide not to request a refund your purchase will be held safely with us and you do not need to do anything.

All vouchers will be converted to monetary value to be used against a future booking.

On your return as a thank you for staying loyal to us, we will endeavour to upgrade your stay free of charge. In the meantime we hope that you enjoy the rest of the summer and we very much look forward to welcoming you back soon.
