Because of the nature of this historic building, access is not always easily available in certain areas to those who are disabled. Please talk with one of our receptionists to discuss any potential personal mobility problems.
ACCURACY:
While we have tried to ensure that all information about Cedar Falls, the facilities, treatments and events is accurate we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. Please note that facilities may alter from time to time and Cedar Falls cannot be held responsible for any changes that occur or any errors or omissions in respect of the information. Liability is therefore excluded for any loss of expense incurred further to reliance upon such information.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES:
Arrival time from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Rooms should be vacated on the day of departure by 11:00am, but guests are welcome to use the facilities in the afternoon and reserve a table for lunch if they wish.
PRIVACY POLICY AND SECURITY:
Your privacy and security is important to Cedar Falls when visiting our site. Cedar Falls will not loan, rent or sell your personal details to any third parties and will comply with all data protection legislation in force from time to time with regard to the treatment of any data it collects using the website. Upon completing any form on this site your e-mail address will be recorded and may be used to send information about Cedar Falls - please complete the unsubscribe procedure on any resulting e-mails to have the address removed.
USE:
You agree that you will not undertake any action that interferes or attempts to interfere with the proper working of this site and that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large loan on the site's infrastructure.
CHOICE OF LAW:
These Terms and Conditions are subject to English Law and any dispute in relation to them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
The information contained on this Site may contain or be subject to trademarks, copyright, database rights or other intellectual property rights belonging to Cedar Falls. No License in respect of such intellectual property rights is granted and save for displaying the information in your computer screen and/or printing one copy for your own personal records you may not reproduce, modify, copy, publish, distribute or make available to the public any of the information accessed on this site without prior written consent.
BOOKING & RATES:
The rates quoted on this website are accurate as of May 18th 2007. All information and rates are, however, subject to change upon notice and we recommend therefore that you review the website at regular intervals to check for any changes posted. Any special needs must be notified at the time of reservation but will not be guaranteed.
We cannot be held responsible for a failure of the on-line booking system - please check the e-mail response immediately and contact us if there is an error. In the event of a booking system error or failure, the published detail and prices will be deemed to be correct, and only full payment of the published prices will guarantee the booking.
PAYMENT:
At the time of booking you will be required to pay the full amount in advance. Cedar Falls accepts payment from the major credit card providers. You must check your booking confirmation carefully and check any queries immediately.
PRICES:
The prices featured are per person per night. These prices include accommodation in the room type as described all meals as specified, service and VAT (at the current rate).
AMENDMENTS:
If you wish to make an amendment to your booking, you should immediately contact our Reservation Department who will do everything they can to accommodate you. An administration charge of £10.00 will apply to each amended booking. These charges apply to name changes and a change to party size and will be applied on each occasion you have cause to make an amendment.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:
If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking then please contact our Reservation Department. All cancellations must be made in writing by post/fax/e-mail; the date of arrival at Cedar Falls will be the accepted date.
RESIDENTIAL CANCELLATIONS:
There will be no refund for a non-arrival without notice.
More than 30 days prior to arrival - £75 per person will be charged.
Cancellation of additional treatments within 24 hours - 50% of the cost of the treatment will be refunded.
DAY GUEST CANCELLATION:
There will be no refund for a non-arrival without notice.
More than 30 days prior to arrival - £75 per person will be charged or 25% of the booking will be refunded, whichever is the lesser amount.
Cancellation of additional treatments within 24 hours - 50% of the cost of the treatment will be refunded.
CHILDREN & PETS:
Cedar Falls does not have the facilities or accommodation for children under 16 or for pets.
GIFT VOUCHERS:
1. Cedar Falls are not responsible for any delay, or loss in delivery occurring due to postal delays or force majeure.
2. In the event of any issues with the purchase of gift vouchers Cedar Falls accepts no responsibility for any additional consequential loss over and above the original value of the goods purchased.
3. Vouchers remain the property of Cedar Falls until such time as full payment has been received and cleared.
4. The vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Change for unused voucher amounts will not be given.
6. Bookings using gift vouchers must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
7. Vouchers can be used against all advertised packages, offers and accommodation.
8. Vouchers used against treatments can only be used in conjunction with bookings that involve an integral payment for using the Cedar Falls facilities.
9. Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of issue, unless purchased for a particular promotional period.
10. Voucher numbers must be sent to Cedar Falls at the time of booking and must be presented on arrival if being used as part of final payment. Non-presentation of a gift voucher will necessitate a charge being made.
All cancellation charges are shown under 'Cancellation', except that a refund cannot be made against a Gift Voucher. However, we will be pleased to hold the balance of the value of the voucher for future use.
Cedar Falls has a policy of continuous development of fitness, health and beauty treatments and techniques. We therefore reserve the right to make changes, which will be beneficial to our guests. Notification of specific changes will be given where relevant. Should a guest choose not to proceed with an alternative treatment that may have been substituted for a specific choice, no treatment cancellation charge will be made.
INSURANCE:
We strongly advise you to take out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation and other risks including personal accident and personal public liability.
MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL BREAKDOWNS:
Any mechanical or electrical breakdowns, which occur on the premises, are usually beyond our control, although we will try to repair any such fault as soon as possible. No refunds will be given unless any such breakdown is due to the negligence of the Company or its employees or agents.
MEDICAL SERVICES:
Cedar Falls is not a medical or an alternative medical centre, and does not have a resident doctor. Guests are advised to consult with their family doctor about the need to limit or avoid our full range of treatments and facilities.
MOBILE PHONES:
These are not permitted in any of the public areas.
VALUABLES:
No responsibility can be accepted by Cedar Falls for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to the health resort whether placed in the safe or not. If you do bring valuable items it is essential they are covered by your own insurance for the period of your stay. Cedar Falls will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our residents, their property and belongings unless it is solely due to negligence of the Company, its employees or agents.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem during your stay you must bring it to the attention of the management at the time, to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify it.
